Privacy policy

This policy explains what Housewise Canada collects and how it is used.

What we collect

• Server logs. Our host may record your IP address, browser and the pages you view, for security and basic statistics.
• Analytics. We do not use analytics or advertising trackers.
• Email you send us. If you write to us, we keep your message and address to reply.

Home Fit and My plan

Your Home Fit answers and your plan are saved in your own browser's local storage so they are there when you return. They are never sent to us or anyone else. Clear them any time with "Clear answers", by emptying your plan, or by clearing site data in your browser.

Cookies and third parties

When you click an affiliate link, the store and its affiliate network may set cookies to record that you came from this site. Those cookies are controlled by them, under their own policies.

Room photos are loaded from Unsplash's image servers, which receive your IP address and browser details when the images load, under Unsplash's own privacy policy.

Your choices

You can ask us to see or delete anything we hold about you by writing to [email protected]. We handle personal information in line with applicable Canadian privacy law.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13.
